Charles Olson began his NYC real estate career in 2000 on the technology side as an IT professional focused on helping real estate agents sell real estate. Believing that the internet provides exceptional value to clients in terms of helping them find and sell homes most efficiently, he concentrated in this vital aspect of the business until deciding that working directly with buyers and sellers in all neighborhoods of his hometown Brooklyn was that much more rewarding.
Tech savvy and analytical yet highly creative in his thinking, Charles provides a diverse range of services in support of every aspect of a client's real estate transaction. From the search to the sale and everything step between, his focus on the deal is never overshadowed by his penchant for excellent service. Charles specializes in the borough he loves, Brooklyn, where he was born, grew up, went to school, worked and still resides. He is a proud homeowner and investment property owner, as well as a proud dad raising his family in Brooklyn. Charles holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Brooklyn College, an MS in Telecommunications and Computing Management from Polytechnic University, and a PMP Certification. He spent 20 years in IT working in the Real Estate, Legal and Finance sectors.
Outside of work Charles is equally passionate as an endurance sports junky who trains for mega-long endurance events. He most recently completed the 508-Mile Furnace Creek 508 Bicycle Race through Death Valley, CA, which crosses 10 mountain ranges totaling over 30,000 feet of climbing in a 48-hour time limit. Charles has done this race for the past three years, raising money for charity. As your real estate agent, he will go the distance for you too!
